I give Montrose Animal Health Center the highest rating without qualification. Dr. Teixeira and staff provided excellent care to our dog over the years. When the time came for our aged dog’s end-of-life transition, Montrose folks provided an extremely personal and caring process for our beloved family partner.

Dr. Texieria has been our vet for over 20 years and we would not go anywhere else. She always has our pet’s best interest at heart and has never steered us wrong. Highly recommended.

We’ve had animals for 60 years in Fairfax County and have had several vets. Montrose is BY FAR THE BEST VET we’ve ever had!! They are wise, compassionate, timely, proactive and reasonably priced. (I wish our human docs were as good.) Buck and Possum get the best care there!

Have been meaning to leave this review for a while. Dr. Teixeira is a wonderful doctor and human being. She takes wonderful care of our very challenging dog. When we lost our first dog, she stayed with us the whole time and made a very hard transition possible. We will always be grateful to her.

We have been clients of Dr. Teixeira at Montrose for 18 years. There are closer vets to where we live now, but Montrose is consistently available and provides quality care for our pets at reasonable prices. A week ago, our boxer was into his fourth day suffering from diarrhea. I called the front desk, and my message was transferred to Dr. Teixeira, who may not even have been on duty that day. She called back, asked a series of questions, and prescribed an antibiotic without having to see our dog. This was top-flight, caring, affordable service. Dr. Teixeira consistently explains the pros and cons of treatments. Our dog loves her.
